San Jose, CA - September 12, 2002 Roaring Camp Railroads, located 6 miles north of Santa Cruz in the Santa Cruz Mountains, today announced that as part of their continued effort of support to the community that the children of InnVisions childcare programs will spend a special Day Out With Thomas. Friday, September 13th at 9:30am, the children of the Georgia Travis Center will depart for the Roaring Camp Railroads and a fun filled day of activities with Thomas. At 11:00am the beloved childrens book character Thomas the Tank Engine comes to life for the children of InnVision. They will travel with Thomas through Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and along the San Lorenzo. Meet Sir Topham Hatt. Take a picture with Thomas and enjoy several Thomas activities and will start their return to the Georgia Travis Center at 1:30pm.
The generosity and support for our children make Roaring Camp Railroads very special to InnVision said Anne Erhesman, Director of Programs at InnVision. Children make up nearly 40% of the homeless people in the South Bay and support, like that of Roaring Camp Railroads, have a true impact in changing their lives. and childcare. Our Julian Street Inn is the only shelter in Northern California
solely dedicated to serving the severely Mentally Ill.

About Roaring Camp Railroads
Roaring Camp Railroads located 6 miles north of Santa Cruz off State Route
17 at Mt. Herman Road, is wholly owned by Roaring Camp, Inc. a California
corporation with 1800 shareholders. The RC&BTNGRR operate steam powered
passenger trains over a six-mile round trip route from Roaring Camp to Bear
Mountain in Santa Cruz County. The route passes directly through the Welch
Big Trees Groves of California Coastal Redwoods the first land purchased
in 1867 expressly to preserve a redwood forest. These lands are privately
owned and held under long-term leasehold by Roaring Camp Inc.s parent
company, Redwood Holding, Inc. Steam engines run daily except Christmas Day.
An adult fare is $15.50 and children (3-10) are $10.50. The Santa Cruz line
charges $17 and $12. Parking is $5.
