| On
a rainy, windy Saturday in December, employees of NVIDIA Corporation and
InnVision, along with their family members, celebrated the culmination
of a phenomenal effort on the part of NVIDIA to benefit InnVision clients.
It has become an NVIDIA holiday tradition
to host a charitable event to assist disadvantaged families in the community.
This year they partnered with InnVision.
Throughout the campaign, employees of NVIDIA
were given the opportunity to purchase items that would go toward the
adoption of 47 Adopt-A-Family Units, provide 100+ new toys for Santa's
Cupboard, provide large gift baskets for each woman client in InnVision's
emergency shelter, and provide the individual shelters with needed items
for their on-going programs.
NVIDIA's CEO, President and Co-Founder,
Jen-Hsun Huang, was the cheerleader for the effort. His commitment to
the responsibility of corporations and individuals alike to work to
better the community at large is laudable and is obvious at every level
of this corporation. John McSorley, Vice President of Human Resources,
worked with Stephanie Luck and Vicki Ebere to organize the event that
included holiday entertainment, food, crafts, face painting, cookie
decorating and a visit from Santa Claus.
All goodies were wrapped, sorted and trucked
off to InnVision's Georgia Travis Center for distribution. Thank you,
