Argonaut School's Community Service committee was looking for a project that the kids of Argonaut could participate in and would have some real meaning to them. So they contacted InnVision, Anne Ehresman, Director of Programs gave the committee land Argonaut principal, Sue Brooks, several suggestions. Everyone on the committee thought that the Adopt a Family program was ideal, especially since most of the families had kids that were of school age.

Since the school was unsure of how much participation in this project they could expect from the parents, the school decided to adopt only 13 families.  Argonaut has 26 classrooms so they felt that they could match one family with each two classrooms and that way ensure that they got enough participation. Little did Argonaut know how this thing would snowball!  As you probably guessed, Argonaut not only received everything the adopted families requested, they also received many cash donations as well.

The Argonaut School's Community Service committee also had many parents thanking us for such a wonderful and worthwhile project!  Argonaut School is thrilled at how their school pulled together to make the holiday brighter for those less fortunate.
