Schallenberger Elementary took to heart
President Kennedy's words and figured out how to put them into action.
All last year they collected pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
One of the fifth grade classes gathered the money each month from every
classroom and was responsible for adding it all up. At the end of the
year they had raised over $2,000!
The money was split between InnVision's
Georgia Travis Center and the Yosemite Fund.
