I want to thank each staff member of Clara-Mateo Alliance.
You made a difference in my time of need. You showed me compassion and hope to end my homelessness. You provided me with a safe and drug free environment, which allowed me to focus on my recovery and to receive a certificate of completion from Project Hope, all of which will help me begin a new life.
I will show my appreciation by being successful and share my experiences with others, hoping they find the happiness I found at Clara-Mateo Alliance.

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the help and encouragement that I received during my stay at Clara-Mateo Alliance. My service broker (Bob Crouter) was very helpful as well as all of the rest of the staff. I certainly hope that your organization continues to do as fine of a job in the future as it has done for me over the past 90 days. I am now living in a wonderful house here in San Mateo. I always have believed that if you do what is right you will be treated that way. Clara Mateo gives people a chance to do what is right for themselves, giving them a chance to be independent and maintain their self-esteem.
If there were more people as involved in helping others to help themselves as you all are, I believe the world would be in better shape. Most people don’t realize how quickly they can become homeless. The people at Clara-Mateo don’t treat their clients as being hopeless; they show that they care for them as human beings, and that they can actually make a difference in this world we all live in.
I do have quite a busy schedule here at work, but if I can do something to help Clara-Mateo, please let me know.

I came to the wonderful Clara-Mateo Alliance shelter in Menlo Park California, and their help was very important for me. I was living in the shelter about 3 months and all the support I received from them gave me discipline and focus to optimize my goals to find a job and continue on my own way.
All the Clara-Mateo Alliance staff were working hard to improve us, to maintain the place clean and organized. The environment was open- minded and there was open communication for every person. I felt excitement to work with them, and to receive good commands and directions to awake before 7 am or come on time at night each day.
Also with my particular family crisis I obtained a lot of support from the Social Worker. She give me good directions and advice to find solutions.
Now, three years later I'm a school teacher and trying to start Spanish classes on the Web. I just want to say thank you all of you in Clara-Mateo Alliance that help me in my critical moments. Thank you Clara-Mateo Alliance!
