Dear Friends,

One of the results of this very challenging economy is a dramatic increase in the number of people coming to InnVision seeking varying types of assistance including housing, food, clothing and jobs...over 1,000 people a day are now accessing programs at our 20 locations throughout Silicon Valley.

InnVision has also been impacted by reductions in government funding, as well as private donations, at a time when the demand for services has increased 50% in the past two years.

There is good news, however, the general public as a whole do seem more sensitive to the needs of our clients; we all know someone in our own family, neighborhood, or workplace who has lost a job or housing and exhausted all their resources.

We are not sure how the holidays will be impacted this year at InnVision programs, but we will continue to reach out to you for assistance with gift cards, toys, toiletries, socks, underwear, and etc.  InnVision works hard to make the holidays as cheerful and special as possible, particularly for the children. Cash donations are extremely important too, as we try to maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet the emergent needs.

Please know that we are greatly appreciative of your kindness and generosity…now more than ever.  There are also many volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups, so please contact us at 408-292-4286 x1018 to get involved.

We have been in the process of developing more partners to help reduce costs, and augment services. Let me know if your organization would be interested in pursuing ways to collaborate.
