The Transitional/Supportive Housing is longer term housing and services that make all the difference in the world for the many women and men who have found work but cannot afford to move directly from a shelter into their own home. Clients can reside in this type of housing for up to two years as they progress towards self-sufficiency.

This Victorian home is named after longtime InnVision volunteer Roy Stevens. As one the newly completed projects, and in partnership with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of San Jose, Stevens House is providing housing for mentally disabled men and women exiting our Julian Street Inn.

Another new completed project, HomeSafe provides women and children who are survivors of domestic violence a safe, secure place to recover from their abuse and develop new life coping skills. The complex includes community buildings and a childcare center.
 The Villa

Originally a fraternity house, the Villa has been renovated and is now a beautifully decorated co-housing model for women and children exiting emergency shelter. Tutorial programs for mothers and children are available on site.
 Casa Camino

Casa Camino offers individual efficiency apartments for those transitioning back into the community. This is a unique approach to transitional/supportive housing by providing families full independent living plus support services.
Angela McCann and her three daughters came to the Georgia Travis Center in January 2001 looking for help. Angela was broke and had nowhere to turn. Placed in the Commercial Street Inn, Angela worked with the InnVision team and secured employment as well as childcare and schools. The family moved into the InnVision Villa and after saving money were able to secure permanent housing.
